Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have the pleasure to invite you to the VIII Open,Veterans and Children’s International Table Tennis Festival “Albena 2006”, which will be held at “Albena “ Resort, situated at the Black Sea beach. . There you will be offered the best accommodation, training, competing, recreation and entertainment conditions.

The numerous awards will supplement your pleasant moments at the resort.

You will have the exquisite possibility to spend the days from July 08 to July 18, 2006 availing of all price reductions for accommodation and meals, garanted for the Festival, which will allow you to organize your team's camp or your family's summer holiday.

The tournaments of the Festival will be opened to all that would like to participate. All country clubs have been invited and official invitations to all European Table Tennis Federations have been extended.

The accommodation prices will be much lower compared not only to the local hotel prices, but also to all other hotel prices in the country. The costs for the meals will be very reasonable.

EVENTS

Each category will have the following events:

Women`s Singles
Women`s Doubles
Men`s Singles
Men`s Doubles
Mixed Doubles
If there are less than 4 players or pairs in any event, it will be cancelled and the entries will be moved to the next younger category.

Every entered player is allowed to participate in one Singles and one Doubles. The player must participate in his/her own age category, except in Doubles. If the players of a pair do not belong to the same age group, then they shall be placed in the category of the younger player.
If the Doubles partner /according to the draw/ is not present, a new partner will be given by the Organizer, if possible.

The Organizing Committee holds the right to make changes in events, without prior notice.


SYSTEM OF PLAY

Each category, Singles and Doubles, will be played “best of fave” games up to the finals. The finals will be played “best of seven” games.

The qualifying competition will be played in Round Robin Groups, which will be followed by Competition Elimination Rounds and Consolation Elimination Rounds.
